Bike - please make sure your stead is up to the job of a full day on the trails. If in doubt we recommend a service by your local bike shop or if you'd prefer, contact Bikebus.net in advance and we can help you hire a bike from a reputable hirer.

Helmet - make sure it fits, is adjusted correctly and in good condition

Cycle shorts - comfort, enough said

Waterproof jacket - preferably not too big, heavy and bulky

Base Layer (cotton t-shirts are not ideal)

Fleece Top

Cycle shoes or flat trainers

Padded Gloves

Hydration Bladder or water bottle

Munchies - cereal bars, etc

Maintenence kit - spare tubes/puncture kit/pump/tyre levers, multi tool,
lube/oil, etc (some items will be stocked for sale on Bikebus)

Change Of Clothes lean, dry, warm clothes for the journey home

Rucksack to carry all your gear

Other stuff you may wish to bring along

Remember, weather in the hills can change dramatically very quickly so come prepared

Waterproof trousers

Sunglasses and sunblock- you can always hope

Camera - memories of your day

Insect repellant - midges!!
